Juvenile Hall to Hold Public Tours Sept. 29

The San Diego County Probation Department and the Juvenile Court will be hosting tours of the Juvenile Justice Center facilities in Kearny Mesa on Saturday, Sept. 29.

National Wireless Emergency Alert System Test Set for Oct. 3

No reason to become alarmed. Your mobile phone will emit a special tone and vibrate as it receives an emergency test message on Sept. 20 update rescheduled to Oct 3. It is part of a nationwide test by the Federal Emergency Management Agency of Wireless Emergency Alerts systems to assess its effectiveness.
