VIDEO: Kids Find Safe Zone in SD Nights

Reading Time: < 1 minute

SD Nights is a Friday evening summer program created by County Parks that helps keep kids occupied and off the streets during a critical time. In addition to providing many activities, the program also gives the kids opportunities to interact with local law enforcement from County Probation and Sheriff’s Departments.

This is a pilot program located at the Spring Valley Gymnasium and Teen Center, and will be expanding to other centers in Lakeside, Oceanside, Santee and other cities. This weekly program for youth and parents or guardians is free and open to the public. Space is limited, however. Call 619-667-6835 to secure your spot.
