Mobile Homeless Resource Fairs are breaking down barriers for people experiencing homelessness. Representatives from the County, the District Attorney and Public Defender’s Office, Interfaith, and a dozen other service providers have teamed up on four separate days to provide same-day support in one location for people experiencing homelessness. The most recent event was held at the North Inland Live Well Center in Escondido where 105 people received assistance, including food resources, 23 showers, 49 laptops, two housing placements, seven vaccinations and 17 referrals to other critical services.
