Say ‘I Do’ to a Saturday Wedding

Just in time for the summer wedding season, the San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk has expanded its hours for marriage licenses and civil ceremonies. Couples can now say “I do” on the third Saturday of the month.

“We are always looking for better ways to serve the public,” said Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk Ernie Dronenburg. “This has been a long time coming and a goal of mine since I took office.”

Saturday hours will be offered at the Clerk’s Kearny Mesa office at 9225 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for marriage licenses and civil ceremonies by appointment only. There will also be limited services available, including obtaining birth, marriage and death certificates, as well as registering fictitious business name filings.

Appointments can be made by calling (619) 237-0502.
