Pumpkin Smash Event Gives Halloween Pumpkins a Second Life in Lakeside

Halloween pumpkins can keep giving long after Oct. 31. Just ask the goats and pigs at a local farm and animal sanctuary that enjoyed nearly 2,000 pounds of pumpkins donated through the County’s first Pumpkin Smash event.
