Two local high school students are earning class credit by interning at a County Animal Shelter. The students will experience the wide diversity of the operations of an animal shelter and what goes into making it work and succeed each day.
In 2015, there were 17,975 domestic violence incidents reported to law enforcement in San Diego County, a 6 percent increase from the prior year and up 12 percent from 2011. Local groups and agencies recently came together to provide community education and awareness on domestic violence.
