In observance of Juneteenth, San Diego County offices will be closed on Friday, June 19. The closure includes all County public health clinics, family resource centers, library branches and animal shelters.

Law enforcement, emergency animal control response and essential services will continue without interruption throughout the holiday.

County parks, campgrounds and neighborhood day‑use parks will remain open as they do every day of the year. However, several community facilities will be closed on Friday, June 19. These include:

  • Fallbrook Community Center
  • Lakeside Community and Teen Center
  • Spring Valley Community Center
  • Spring Valley Gymnasium and Teen Center
  • 4S Ranch Recreation Office (all parks remain open)
  • Valley Center Community Hall
  • Adams Park Pool

Camping reservations may still be made at the County Department of Parks and Recreation Online Camping Reservations webpage. The reservation phone line, however, will not be staffed on Juneteenth.

All County offices and facilities will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22.
