It’s that time of year to write up a list of resolutions. Remember to include your dog and cat. They’re both part of the family, right?
County Animal Services has seven ideas for you:
- Make sure your dog and cat are vaccinated against rabies
- License your dog
- Register your dog and cat with Finding Rover, which can help you find them if they’re lost
- Microchip your animals. If they’re already microchipped, make sure your information is current
- Get your dog and cat spayed or neutered
- Create a disaster plan for your pets
- Take your dog for regular walks
County Animal Services offers low-cost license, microchip and rabies vaccination clinics at its three shelters from 1 to 3 p.m. every Thursday.
