A County Parks volunteer is making a big impact by barely saying a word. He earned the title of Parks Volunteer of the Year by teaching free tai chi classes for almost 12 years at Lindo Lake Park in Lakeside, and he’s one of about 4,400 volunteers who contributes more than 100,000 service hours to the County Department of Parks and Recreation each year.
