There is no mistaking the positive impact vaccines have had in the battle against COVID-19. As the region continues to break out of the pandemic bubble, the County is focused on providing easy vaccine access, especially in hard-hit and hesitant communities. Veterans and military families in East County don’t have many vaccination options in their community, so the VA, STEP Program, SD Veterans Coalition and the VFW teamed-up to host a vaccination clinic in Lakeside.
