It would be your lucky day if you would adopt one or more of these kitties and pitties now available at the County Department of Animal Services shelters.

Follow the rainbow and find a pot of gold in the form of your new best friend perhaps a pitty or adult kitty.

The County of San Diego Department of Animal Services is offering a $17 adoption fee special for cats and pit bull and pit bull mix dogs from Friday, March 13 through St. Patrick’s Day on March 17.

If you’re interested, check out some of the pets available on the Animal Services website.

Fees include spaying or neutering, a microchip, free license, updated vaccinations and a free veterinary exam. The adoption fee for a dog normally costs $75. The fee for a cat is normally $65.

The two shelters are open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. For more information, call (619) 767-2675 or visit sddac.com.
